Blog I must...

Hello dear ones... someday I will have some readers! So I may as well practice.

I am hopefully attending Cicada Club on Halloween! I have my tickets, but need o come up with a bit of cash for the trip. So I will be posting some Etsy items next week.

For the Cicada, I plan to make a fabulous Seahorse costume. Based on an aqua bias cut silk evening gown, I have oodles of matching velvet and thought it could be a cape in sections, with the little finny wings on the back, and a hat  shaped like the seahorse's head.  The dress needs a bit of help anyway, so I can add a train shaped like the tail, stuffed for shape and held up with a loop on the wrist. I will probably not be able to pull it off in time, but maybe.

Had a wonderful New Year!

New Year's Eve I went the THREE parties - played with my quartet at San Francisco Towers, then off the Davies Symphony Hall to see the Peter Mintun Orchestra, then closed out the wee hours at the Church of Sinatra! Such fun.

And last night, the annual Mr. Rick's Martini Club New Year's Party - a week late and an hour early, the balloon drop at 11 pm.



It was a wonderful time!
